Restoration Roast

A portion of profits from our Restoration Roast will support the Nicholls Biology Coastal Plants Program. The planting program focuses on restoration projects in the marshes of coastal Louisiana. Nicholls biology grows the plants they use in these projects and use locally adapted native varieties.

Grow

The Coastal Plants Program grows and plants several species of locally-adapted native plants for beach, marsh and barrier island restoration. 

Restore

With the help of volunteers, the projects remove debris from beaches and bayous and use native plants to restore coastal habitats.  Students gain hands-on field experience and may collect data for class or research projects. Â
